Desperate Housewives show insults Philippine Medical School

The Philippine government is seeking an apology from the American television network ABC and the producers of the hit US television series “Desperate Housewives” over a racial slur made against Philippine medical schools and professionals.



In a controversial clip from the premiere of ABC’s Desperate Housewives, Susan Mayer, (played by Teri Hatcher) was consulting a gynecologist and refuses to be examined. She replied: “Okay, before we go any further, can I check those diplomas? Coz I would just like to make sure they are not from some med school in the Philippines.”
